Mark Loeffelholz
was once rated an expert marksman with a .38 Smith & Wesson revolver while serving with the USAF Security Police. Several careers later, he has written poetry, political satire, short stories, motion picture screen-plays and novels. In 2008, his screenplay Born To Fly was optioned in Hollywood.
Blood & Ashes is the first of a planned series of Oscar Jade mystery/action novels set in the 1940s.
He currently resides in Lincoln, Illinois, and is the proud father of two sons, Ian and Alec.
